My record at the Dragon and Town Close, where in both schools ISI found that 'teaching was often excellent, and was very good or better in over half the lessons' speaks for itself.

I ensure a positive attitude to inspection, focus on practical performance in the classroom, and highlight the school’s and individuals’ strengths as well as areas for improvement and for staff training.

I review the school's own Self Evaluation Form to help ensure that it fully reflects the school's ethos and character, and also that the Head is fully briefed well in advance of the key initial contact with the Reporting Inspector.

Ideally my visit will take place several terms before the date of the inspection.
