Cath currently provides brand enforcement services for two of our clients. She works alongside Trading Standards, HM Revenue & Customs and the police across the UK to pro-actively monitor the UK marketplace and take action to protect our clients’ interests from the dangers of counterfeiting. Cath spends a considerable amount of time in the field educating the enforcement agencies and taking part in actions against offenders. Her role has the dual objective of (i) reducing the number of counterfeit goods available on the UK market, and (ii) generating intelligence to take action against the manufacturers of counterfeit products in their home countries. She also works actively to police on-line commerce and auction sites. Her activities have led to significant increases in seizures of counterfeit goods for our clients, and in the successful prosecution of offenders.

Cath joined Stephens & Associates in 2008. Prior to this she was an officer in the British Army, and spent 8 years serving in locations worldwide, since first gaining her commission with the Royal Signals back in 2000. She is also a qualified mountaineering and climbing instructor. Cath is fluent in French, having completed an MA Hons in French at the University of Glasgow.
